Q. When will I receive my certification card?
A. When you have successfully completed the course you will receive your certification via email within 24 hours.

Q. Will my employer accept my certification?
A. Yes, as long as you have taken the correct course

Q. How long is my certification good for?
A. All Certifications are good for 2 years.

Q. If I take the course in Delaware, but live in another state, will my card be accepted?
A. Yes, all course completion cards are accepted in all US states

Q. How do I sign up for a class?
A. Right Here! Find the class you need on a date and time that works with your schedule, click on it and a form comes up, complete that form and you’re registered.

Q. Will I be reminded of my upcoming class?
A. Yes, you will get an E-mail the day before the class to remind you.

Q. Will you remind me when my card is going to expire?
A. Yes, if you have taken the class with us and your e-mail address stays the same, we will send out a reminder one month prior to your card expiring.

Q. What does BLS Stand for?
A. BLS Stands for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Q. How do I pay for the Class?
A. You can either pay right after registering online or you can come to the class 10 minutes earlier and pay in cash.

Q. How large of a class can you teach?
A. We have many instructors and can teach a class of any size.

Q. What should I wear to the class?
A. Comfortable clothing, shoes that slip off and on easily.

Q. What is the minimum age to learn CPR?
A. The AHA does not mandate a minimum age requirement for learning CPR. The ability to perform CPR is based more on body strength than age. Studies have shown that children as young as nine years old can learn and retain CPR skills

Q.Why is AED training included in all training?
A. The science in the official 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC shows that victims have a greater chance of survival from cardiac arrest when high-quality CPR includes use of an AED.

Q.I am not a healthcare professional and I need a CPR and AED course for work purposes. Which course should I take?
A. Heartsaver (H.S.) CPR AED is probably best for you.

Q.Are your courses OSHA Compliant?
A.Our Heartsaver Courses are for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job. These courses are designed to meet OSHA requirements

Q.Do your courses meet the standards for the USCG?
A.Yes, I typically recommend the Red Cross CPR + FA course for boat captains.

Q. Is BLS a prerequisite for ACLS?
A. Yes, and they are expected to show current BLS certification to the instructor prior to the course.

Q. Do I need to do anything to prepare for the class?
A. No, you could purchase a book in the class if you would like.
